Once upon a time the world was round, and you could go on it around and around.

In the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet.

Those who are able to walk on stilts can roam the earth unstopped by mountains and rivers.  They are able to imagine flying, and therefore to reach the Isle of the Immortals.
